'Beat Box'

Check out this mesmerizing " Beat Machine No. 2 " by contemporary music composer Koka Nikoladze ! He discribes it as " made for rappers and DJs " It has a little bit of electronics inside, but still the sound is completely acoustic. He started making these " just for fun, to relax after doing a lot of theoretical work in the frames of his PhD project." Beat machine No. 2 is a small box with linear actuators. In his words: " I was planning to make it with different materials, but some of them did not work. So for example I had to use a soldering iron stand as a bass drum. You can program various rhythmic patterns and switch between them very easily.
