Title: "Skaters arrested for not wearing masks"(Yesterday 26/10/20 ),according to the new measures and the mandatory use of a mask outdoors in Thessaloniki, it is reported that the case of individual sports is being investigated, nevertheless we as skateboarding athletes for obvious reasons We followed the measures and wore masks. Various false articles are circulating on the internet with the above title. As we can see, nothing of what the news reports happened, the police arrived at the place where we were skating Aristotelous Square in Thessaloniki " So they asked for id verification because there was a complaint of damage to public property. The verification was successful and we were ready to leave the spot, one of the us told the police that instead of blaming us who are exercising there are more serious problems to solve , the police officer got mad, he replied that he did not accept any suggestions for his work and started pulling him violently and any of us who were nearby were led to police station ,2 of us in the car and the rest were surrounded by police’s motorcycles. We thank all the media that without having the slightest information about what happened created a huge "wave" of false news. The incident had nothing to do with non-compliance with Covid's measures but clearly with the hatred that prevails against this sport. Finally we thank the police officer who showed us how to use the mask properly. ~"
