For the past 5 years BKG Scholars have been writing letters, making calls and asking for help.🚗🚙🚘Combat parking against our school building has been the norm for over 40 years. Thanks to the persistence of our Principal, Mrs. Carr, the support of our parent body and the diligence of @cmchiosse and partnering with leaders at the #77thprecint of @nypd we can finally walk the perimeter of our school building safely! Nor do we have to worry about the exhaust fumes coming through our classroom windows while we learn! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 At The Brooklyn Green School we know that environmental issues are social justice issues.
